1. NT Biocera provides one of the easiest obturation amongst all root canal sealers available in the market. (Trick: Place NT Biocera sealer from middle third to orifice and place one master cone. That’s it. YOU NEED NO TRAINING FOR IT.)
2. If there are splits in the canal and you want to capture anatomy like delta, down pack a little more like up to 4 to 5 mm from orifice @ 150 degree at a faster speed than normal warm vertical condensation speed. Voila!! Anatomy will be captured.
3. For normal obturation you don’t need to downpack, just cut at orifice level and remove 2 mm gutta percha for orifice barrier. Use a big size heat plugger, this will need less gadgets and will be faster.
4. It is easiest to clean from chamber by just water and ultrasonics.
5. Bioceramic sealer is hydrophilic in nature thereby expands on setting, leading to this amazing property of self-seal, this characteristic provides a superior seal as compared to non bioceramics.
6. It has antibacterial property due to high alkalinity and is biocompatible resulting in painless extrusion.
7. NT Biocera bioceramic sealer can be used in a bypassed space by activation with endo activator. It is observed that bioceramic sealer is easy to use than gutta percha in bypassed space.
8. Use Biocera putty for open apex and backfill with NT Biocera sealer and gutta percha. Biocera sealer and Bioceramic putty bonds very well so provides a better seal.
9. Sometimes in apical hook it is extremely hard to place gutta percha. In such difficult cases use sealer pump with gutta percha 2 or 3 times. You can also downpack as mentioned above. The hook will be obturated with this smart strategy.
10. To make the use of Biocera economical, practice it in GP conventional method which would cut the cost per session to minimal.
11. Last but not the least, NT Biocera can be used as practice builder as there will be no pain experienced on extrusion.
